I know I have been quite inactive the past month, alot of private stuff going on and upcoming exams, but I will try to be more active again from now on. Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.

Music Is My Inspiration ContestWell guys I've decided to start my own contest, because I had awesome feedback on the idea ^_^
It'll be my first contest that I've held...EVER! So it's very exciting :3

One of my friends wrote this comment to someone who completely ripped off my oc. I know what most of you are gonna say, "I thought you said you felt like an inspiration!? C:<". Well, not when they rip off my WHOLE oc...

And tbh, I don't really have "fans"....cuz most of them don't want to talk to ME personally...All they want to do is talk to my OCs...

What if I just decided I didn't want to do the Munkettez anymore, huh? You'd all probably unwatch me....

Also, most of my "fans" are so disrespectful to me..the copy/steal my art and OCs...and they don't care for my feelings either..guys, I'm not a robot..I HAVE feelings. If you copy or steal my drawings I DO get upset </3 Even if I don't confront you..

Most of you will say, "JUST BE HAPPY YOU HAVE FANS >:c I HAVE NONE"

I don't care...with how much disrespect I get. I feel like I don't have friends..

In the words of that one song, "All I'm asking, is fr a little respect!".

I'm sorry that your "fans" are thieves and I'm sorry you feel this way. I don't know what it's like to have something everyone wants, with the exception of my art, but I do know what it's like to have "friends" who only want you for your stuff.
I personally love you art and I would still watch you even if the Munkettez were to dissolve. But if people keep being rude to you, block 'em. Just cut them loose because they aren't doing nothing for you and causing you all this grief. Also, to prevent art theft, watermark your images with you own logo. That way no one can steal them.
